Nonetheless, the forum has emphasized the paramount importance of ensuring a peaceful and equitable Kogi State governorship election on November 11.

Following the Kogi State Police Command’s summons of Ajaka in connection with an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the recent political violence and the subsequent killing of a politician in Kotonkarfe local government area, NSCF’s spokesperson, Comrade Danjuma Paul, articulated the forum’s stance.

Paul stated that allowing Yakubu to remain at large would only serve to promote impunity and convey the message that politicians can escape accountability for their reckless actions that jeopardize peace and security.
