In an interview with News Central TV on Wednesday, Nwaebonyi accused Akpoti-Uduaghan of frequently making false allegations to manipulate situations for her benefit. He referred to a previous incident where she accused public figure Reno Omokri of sexual harassment during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, even though Omokri was already abroad attending to national matters.

“But unfortunately for her, she didn’t realize that the young man was out of the country,” Nwaebonyi remarked.

He further criticized Akpoti-Uduaghan for consistently making sexual harassment accusations when provoked, suggesting that she used these allegations as a strategy to gain sympathy or control situations in her favor.

“And I don’t understand what’s wrong with this lady. Does she believe she’s the most beautiful woman on earth? Or is it because of her chocolate complexion?” Nwaebonyi said. “In my view, she is not among the most beautiful women in Nigeria. It’s high time we took a firm stance against her.”

Nwaebonyi added, “It’s time to take action. We are speaking out not only to protect the Senate President but also to safeguard potential future victims of her actions.”

Akpoti-Uduaghan had recently accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment after a heated altercation over seating arrangements in the Senate. Following the incident, she was suspended from the Senate for six months for “gross misconduct.”
