Speaking on Thursday during an interactive session with Corps members at the Wuse and Garki NYSC Zonal Offices in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nafiu reaffirmed the commitment of the Scheme and the Federal Government to the welfare of Corps members, emphasizing that their well-being remains a top priority. He commended the Corps members for their dedication and selfless service to the nation, urging them to remain calm, disciplined, and focused on their duties. Nafiu also praised the vision of the NYSC founders, highlighting how the Scheme fosters unity by exposing young graduates to diverse cultures across Nigeria. “As of March, you will begin receiving Seventy-Seven Thousand Naira as your monthly allowance,” he assured. “NYSC values record-keeping, and I can confidently say that your payments will be made. The nation and the Scheme deeply appreciate your service.”
