NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, issued a statement on Tuesday confirming that the portal for Batch B prospective corps members was closed after reaching maximum registration capacity.
NYSC expressed regret to affected individuals and assured them that the portal would reopen for Batch B Stream II at a later date.
The organization also debunked a fake press release circulating online, which falsely claimed an extension of the registration deadline.
NYSC warned that disseminating false information about its operations would lead to legal action, emphasizing the seriousness of such actions.
