In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Yakubu disclosed that the orientation, scheduled to run from Nov. 24 to Dec. 14, would take place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area.

Yakubu emphasized that only certified prospective corps members would be allowed entry into the camp, implementing stringent security measures to prevent intrusion or impersonation.

Prospective corps members were assigned specific registration dates, and adherence to camp rules and regulations was stressed, with sanctions outlined in accordance with NYSC by-laws for defaulters.

Additionally, Yakubu underscored the NYSC’s disapproval of late-night journeys, urging prospective corps members to avoid such practices.

Punctuality, diligence, and adherence to the camp’s dress code were also emphasized, with a warning that negligence of the NYSC dressing code would not be tolerated.
