Obasa Remains Our Leader’: Ex-Speaker’s Loyalists Declare Unwavering Support

Supporters of Mudashiru Obasa, the recently impeached Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, gathered at his constituency office in Agege on Wednesday to express solidarity and reaffirm their loyalty to his leadership.

The event, organized under the banner of the “Continuity Obasa Movement,” drew members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Agege Local Government Area.

Amid growing concerns over Obasa’s political future following his impeachment on Monday, party leaders at the meeting urged supporters to remain steadfast and undeterred by recent developments.

They assured attendees of their commitment to maintaining Obasa’s influence in Lagos politics.

Speaking at the event, Jubril Abdulkareem, one of the party leaders, declared, “We have no one else; Obasa is our leader in Agege. We own Agege—no shaking!

“We, the leaders, executives, and members of APC in Agege and Orile Agege, unanimously stand behind Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, who has made significant contributions to the development of the party in this community.

“We also pledge unwavering support for our national leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Despite recent events, we continue to trust in his leadership and sense of judgment.”

Other leaders at the meeting echoed similar sentiments, calling on Obasa’s supporters to remain united and resolute. They reassured members of the APC in Agege that their dedication to the party would continue to yield benefits.

“Obasa is our leader in Agege. Let us not be troubled by the Speakership issue. God will resolve it in our favor. We stand firmly by Obasa,” another leader stated.

The meeting concluded with a resounding commitment to loyalty and unwavering support for Mudashiru Obasa’s leadership.
