Obaseki’s Wrath Ignited: How Oshiomhole, Okpebholo, And Idahosa’s Airport Welcome Triggered The Governor’s Vengeance
Upon their arrival, they were met with immense fanfare and jubilation by the airport staff and taxi operators within the facility. Whenever these guys land, it’s always a bit of a stampede—the organic love is so contagious.
Oshiomhole, the Baba himself, is a mover and shaker of men.Combine the grassroots appeal of Okpebholo with the iconic Mr. Project himself, Dennis Idahosa, and you’ve got a recipe for something truly extraordinary.
Well, reports reaching us indicate that the rousing reception for Oshiomhole, Okpebholo, and Idahosa didn’t sit well with State Governor Godwin Obaseki. Allegedly, he dispatched officials to caution the airport staff, and it’s feared they may have been reprimanded. This isn’t the first time Obaseki’s vindictiveness has come to light.
Obaseki’s actions have reached a fever pitch. He’s reputed to be so vengeful that he would kill a tiny ant with a sledgehammer and a double-barrel gun just to exact his pound of flesh from his intended victims.
Recall that after his reelection in the 2020 elections, Governor Godwin Obaseki was alleged to have fired all of his personal aides, from his chefs to his drivers. Even his once-powerful Personal Assistant , Tijani, was not spared. It was a complete overhaul of his personal staff.
At one point, there were allegations that he dismissed a driver simply because the driver had built a house. This kind of behaviour paints a picture of someone who seems to despise progress, especially when it comes from his own townspeople.
