In a post on her verified Twitter handle, Ezekwesili commended citizens who have not accepted the tribunal’s ruling, emphasizing that all eyes remain on the judiciary until the entire constitutional process is exhausted.
She stressed that democracy belongs to the citizens, emphasizing that it is not solely in the hands of politicians and regulators, regardless of how deeply entrenched they may be.
Ezekwesili concluded by noting that the liberation of society and people from a deeply rooted and problematic political culture is a gradual process that requires determination and persistence.
