Governor Abiodun emphasized that the late Iyalode of Yorubaland epitomized excellence and embodied the highest ideals of Nigerian womanhood, serving as a role model for generations of women.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, on Saturday, Governor Abiodun expressed, “The news of Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson’s passing is undoubtedly a jolting development, but we find comfort in her outstanding record of service to humanity and her untarnished contributions to the progress of Ogun State.”
