The Ogun State Police Command has unveiled images of three women who fell victim to the recently apprehended serial killer, Adebayo Olamide Azeez.
This revelation comes in the wake of the arrest and subsequent parade of Azeez and two accomplices, following the disappearance of Sulaimon Adijat. The investigation initiated by the police traced the connection to Adebayo, who admitted to targeting and killing women he encountered through the “Mychat” hookup platform on social media.
Adebayo confessed to his involvement in the murder of seven victims between September 2023 and January 11, 2024, with Sulaimon Adijat being the catalyst for the investigation.
The suspect provided chilling details of his collaboration with a couple, Moses Abidemi Awuraji and Maria Awuraji, residing at Igbi Olomi Atan, Ogun State. According to their confession, the modus operandi involved strangulating their victims to death and dismembering their bodies. These body parts were then sold to Oluwo Mondy Samuel and Alfa Ariwo (currently at large) for ritualistic purposes.
The Ogun State police have taken swift action by releasing the photos of the deceased women as part of their efforts to inform the public and gather any relevant information related to this disturbing case of ritualistic killings.
