According to him, Fubara would not have attained the governorship without Wike’s backing, referring to Fubara as Wike’s political investment. The APC leader made these remarks on Channels Television’s Politics Today, highlighting the ongoing political rivalry between Fubara and Wike over control of Rivers State.
He pointed out that Wike’s efforts were crucial in transforming Fubara from a civil servant to a party candidate who secured victories in all 23 local governments, a historic achievement for the region.
