Ifeanyi Ossai, the Deputy Governor of Enugu State, expressed appreciation to Senator Uche Ekwunife, the Convener and General Director of SEGOF, emphasizing that leadership entails serving others and creating positive impacts in all facets of life rather than merely holding political office.

Ossai encouraged South East youths to leverage the knowledge gained from the leadership training and speeches by various stakeholders to enhance their leadership capabilities. He commended the initiative for providing young people in the region with invaluable opportunities to learn from leaders across diverse fields.

In a similar vein, Ikechukwu Ekweremadu, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports in Enugu State, underscored the significance of the youth training program in nurturing leaders characterized by integrity and innovation. He highlighted the commitment of South East governors to empower youths and foster constructive societal changes.

Ekweremadu further stressed that leadership involves proactive actions in all spheres of life, urging youths not to rely solely on governmental support but to apply their insights within their communities to effect positive transformations.

The event also saw the participation of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe from Abia South Senatorial District, alongside commissioners of youths and sports from other South East states.
