Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has appealed to the United States of America and the United Kingdom to step in and mediate the escalating tensions between Iran and Israeli forces.

Expressing his views through an official communication channel, Onanuga emphasized that his statement does not represent the official stance of the Nigerian government but rather a personal plea for international intervention.

Highlighting concerns over potential hostilities, Onanuga cautioned against a looming conflict, citing reports of Israel’s purported preparations for a significant retaliatory strike following Iran’s recent attack.
