The movie star, who revealed in November 2024 that she battled a life-threatening illness, opened up about how the gallbladder removal surgery affected her body.

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page on Saturday, Omotola reflected on the changes to her physique, admitting that her stomach—once one of her favorite features—is no longer as perfect.

Expressing her feelings, she said, “Late last year, I had emergency surgery. My tummy used to be one of the best parts of my body, but now it’s not as perfect.”

She recounted a moment during a photoshoot when she instinctively grabbed her top, only to realize that her body had changed. However, she quickly dismissed any doubts, affirming her confidence.

“I heard a little voice saying there’s nothing to show anymore. Not me! Nothing has been created that can shake my confidence. I smiled and danced. I’m alive, and it’s just scars. Some people carry physical scars, while others have emotional ones,” she added.

Meanwhile, Omotola also addressed concerns about her family’s safety amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

In a statement on Instagram, she expressed gratitude to her fans and well-wishers for their concern and reassured them that she and her family are safe. She clarified that she did not leave Los Angeles due to the wildfires.
