A fire outbreak at a one-story building on Atani Road by Uga Junction, Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State has resulted in the destruction of several properties.

The cause of the fire, which began in the early hours of Friday, remains unknown.

According to an eyewitness, the fire originated from a section on the top floor and spread before the state fire service arrived.

Chief Chukwudi Chiketa of the state Fire Service confirmed the incident, stating that firefighters promptly responded to the distress call and managed to contain the fire.

Although the top floor of the building was affected, the firefighters prevented the fire from spreading further.
