Speaking after a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, Onyema acknowledged that while these policies may be challenging in the short term, they will ultimately benefit Nigeria and its citizens over time.

He also praised the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, for his reforms in the aviation sector, noting that these efforts align with Tinubu’s broader vision for the industry.

Onyema urged Nigerians to support the government and promote indigenous investments, stating, “The President, being a businessman himself, is working to stabilize businesses through these policies. While not everyone understands this, those of us in business recognize his intent. Tinubu is engaging in genuine restructuring—not by dividing the country along regional lines, as some believe—but by fundamentally changing how things are done for better outcomes in the long run.”
