Oba Ooni delivered this appeal during his visit to his family compound, which marked the grand finale of the Olojo Annual Festival in the Oketase area of Ile-Ife on Monday.

He acknowledged that Nigeria is presently undergoing a challenging phase, with citizens grappling with difficulties in various aspects of life.

“I am aware that people are facing a difficult period, and indeed, this is a challenging time,” he remarked. “But I am confident that after this festival, normalcy will return to the country, and the problems we are facing will soon be resolved.”

The royal leader advised everyone to endure and continue supporting their leaders, emphasizing that collective support would lead to significant accomplishments.

“We are making progress, just as gold must pass through fire before it can shine,” Oba Ogunwusi added. “The government alone cannot address these challenges without the cooperation of the masses. Therefore, let us all work together, as a single tree cannot make a forest, and no nation can reach its promised land without the contributions of the general populace.”
