Oshiomhole stated that he does not recognize the so-called organizers of the ongoing nationwide protest, which has now lasted for eight days. He argued that the protest is unnecessary, emphasizing that President Bola Tinubu is actively working to address Nigeria’s economic issues.

He remarked, “I am not familiar with the individuals you mentioned or others in the protest. People know Wole Soyinka, the late Gani Fawehinmi, and Femi Falana. Sowore, on the other hand, is a defeated presidential candidate. After losing an election, one should allow the winner time to address the issues. Sowore cannot effectively represent Nigerians or speak for those affected by violence or unrest in places like Kano or Maiduguri.
