the Abia State government is urging students directly affected by the examinations and who believe that standard procedures were intentionally compromised to submit their complaints to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor for thorough investigations and any necessary administrative measures.
The state government has assured the public and all concerned parties that no one will be exempt from scrutiny, emphasizing that none of the allegations will be overlooked. The statement advises aggrieved students to submit their petitions by the end of the workday on Friday.
Last week, numerous nursing students staged a two-day protest in Umuahia, demanding the removal of Mrs. Onyeukwu Nwakaego, the Director of Nursing Service in Abia State Ministry of Health, and other high-ranking officials in the nursing establishments.
The protesting students claimed that their examination results were manipulated and illicitly sold to the highest bidders.
They also alleged a significant and unjustified delay in receiving their PTS examination results, during which time their actual scores were purportedly manipulated.
