The Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (Oyo TESCOM) has announced the results of its recent computer-based assessments for the recruitment of secondary school teachers. Alamu stated that a minimum cut-off mark of 50 percent was set for progression to the next phase of the recruitment. The successful candidates will proceed to interview sessions starting on August 14, 2024, which will span one week.
The interviews will be conducted by panels consisting of current and retired Permanent Secretaries, organized into ten groups of five members each. Candidates are encouraged to check their results on the commission’s online portal.
Interviews are scheduled as follows:
– August 14: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography
– August 15: English, Physics, Health Education, Technical Drawing, Music, and French
– August 16: Basic Science, Home Economics, and Computer Science
– August 19: Commerce, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, Literature in English, and Guidance and Counseling
– August 20: Social Studies, Business Studies, and Food and Nutrition
– August 21: Economics, Government, Finance and Account, Fine Arts, and History
– August 22: Agricultural Science, Yoruba, and Arabic
Alamu advised all candidates to bring their credentials, local government of origin, date of birth certificate, and other relevant documents to their interviews.
