“Pay Nigerian Workers A Living Wage Between 100k-200k”- Sowore Urges Incoming Administration

Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has felicitated with Labour Workers on International workers days, urging the incoming administration to increase their salaries by over 50%.
Recall that the minimum wage was increased to 30,000 Naira per month in 2021. However, it is worth noting that the Nigerian government announced plans to increase the minimum wage to 30,000 Naira in 2019, but some states in the country have yet to fully implement the new wage. CONTINUE READING
