In a communique issued after the PDP Governors Forum meeting in Jos, the party emphasized the importance of unity among its ranks. It reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the PDP as a reliable platform for democratic governance.The communique, delivered by Forum Chairman and Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, also addressed the postponement of the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, citing sympathy for Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, whose wife recently passed away. The forum advised the National Working Committee (NWC) to coordinate consultations with party stakeholders to ensure the NEC meeting occurs by February 2025, by which time leadership and governance issues must be resolved.
