The opposition party remarked, “The State Executive Committee produced a vacuous communique, expressing confidence in their leader, who has been absent for over 65 days, and it is akin to a public display without discretion.
In a statement released by the state publicity secretary of the PDP, Kennedy Ikantu Peretei, it observed that keen observers of the state’s political landscape might be questioning how the state reached such a lamentable situation.
Peretei commented, “The state’s governance ship is adrift at sea, lacking a captain, a sense of direction, and is perilously close to colliding with a hazardous cliff in the near future.
“Now that the State Executive Committee has chosen to publicly expose the weaknesses of this government, it is evident that the administration’s days are numbered.
“As if to further undermine whatever credibility remained of the Akeredolu administration, two State Commissioners dismissed the purported communique as ‘senseless’ and having ‘no effect’.
