PDP Is Dead, Like A Headless Chicken!” – APC Bigwig Blasts Opposition
Former National Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Fanda Adamu, has compared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to a headless chicken, asserting that the party is politically defunct despite attempts to reposition itself.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Adamu made the statement on Wednesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, responding to the PDP’s decision to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the South.
The APC leader dismissed the opposition party’s prospects in the 2027 general elections, emphasizing that the PDP is now a shadow of its former self.
He highlighted the lingering internal conflict between PDP’s 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, as evidence of the party’s fragility.
“The PDP is dead. It’s like a chicken whose head has been severed—it may still squirm, but it’s lifeless. The head is gone. They keep wriggling, but it’s over,” Adamu said.
He added, “What is left of the PDP? It’s Wike and Atiku. Atiku is gone, and Wike is half in, half out. They can zone the presidency anywhere—from the South to the ocean—it won’t change the fact that they won’t win.”
