In a statement issued in Yenagoa over the weekend, following his inauguration as the Director-General of Governor Diri’s campaign team, Obordor emphasized the commitment of the directorate to adhere to the laws and regulations governing political activities.

He also highlighted the exceptional performance of Governor Diri’s administration, which has garnered admiration, even from the main opposition.

Obordor expressed his enthusiasm and respect for the project, stating, “I accepted this responsibility with great enthusiasm and reverence, owing to the faith and confidence I have in this endeavor.”

He further praised the achievements of the “Prosperity government” led by Governor Diri, noting that the administration’s hard work, resilience, and commitment have positively impacted all sectors of the state’s economy. This, he believes, has brought about a significant improvement in the lives of Bayelsans.

Obordor specifically commended the administration’s accomplishments in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, human capital development, and wealth creation.

He asserted that the state could not be in better hands than those of the “Prosperity team” led by Governor Diri. Consequently, he expressed his readiness to accept this responsibility with open arms and work alongside the people to secure a return to Creek Haven for this accomplished team.
