Pete Edochie Speaks On Health Struggles, Says Walking Is A Problem For Me Now
Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has opened up about his recent health challenges, revealing that he is currently experiencing difficulties with walking.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Edochie made the disclosure while visiting his longtime friend and colleague, Emmanuel Armah, who is also reportedly dealing with health challenges.
During the visit, Edochie told Armah that he was not feeling well and expressed hope that his condition would improve. He explained that walking had become difficult for him and that he sometimes experiences swelling in different parts of his body.
“Sitting down here, I’m not very well, myself, I’m not. Walking is a problem for me now, but I still have hope that I will recover myself,” Edochie said.
The veteran actor further disclosed that he occasionally wakes up to find some parts of his body swollen, although the swelling later subsides. He mentioned that his hand and leg were among the areas affected.
Edochie also spoke about his personal prayers concerning his health, saying he has asked God to determine when his life should come to an end rather than allowing him to become a burden to those around him.
“Whenever you feel it is time for me to go, just take me. Don’t let me bother the people who are around me. So, just take me,” he said.
Despite his difficulties, the veteran actor said he remains hopeful about recovering from his current health challenges.
