Speaking with reporters, Obi expressed his sadness over the incident, emphasizing the horror of witnessing the victims’ suffering. He stated that his visit aimed to show solidarity and support for the victims and to commend the hospital management for their efforts.

“This is very horrific and remains very condemnable. It’s sad this can happen in our nation today. Nobody can say why this young boy would do such a thing to his own family members and the society,” Obi remarked. “We stand in solidarity condemning this act. My reason for coming here is to show that solidarity and support in their care in one way or another and to commend the hospital management for their efforts. We must stand together as a country to fight against such senseless acts of violence.”
