Peter Okoye Breaks Silence: ‘Psquare Is Over For Good, I’m Running My Own Race

He made the revelation in response to a social media post stating that all music groups eventually come to an end — including P-Square. Reacting, Mr P made it clear that he has moved on and is now fully focused on his solo career.

According to him, his elder brother Jude Okoye and his twin, Paul (Rudeboy), will continue with what he referred to as the “new P-Square.”

He urged fans to support them on their musical journey while asserting his decision to chart a separate path. Mr P emphasized that he no longer identifies with the group and now considers himself “his own Square.”

“Exactly! JudeBoy & RudeBoy, that’s the new JP-Square. Make una manage them. It’s their time. I’m doing my own thing and running my own race. I am my own Square,” he declared.

P-Square originally gained massive popularity with their electrifying performances and chart-topping hits, but the group’s legacy has been marred by multiple splits, often tied to family disputes.
