In a state-wide broadcast on Tuesday morning, Governor Mutfwang expressed concerns that these troublemakers are trying to exploit the peaceful protests to incite chaos. He assured citizens that his administration is actively working to alleviate hardships and promised to engage in dialogue with youth leaders.

The governor praised the protesters for demonstrating their right peacefully and noted that the state’s tranquility has garnered admiration both nationally and internationally. He emphasized that the government is leveraging technology to combat issues of insecurity and poverty.

Addressing the protests, Mutfwang stated, “I have heard your concerns clearly, and we are in this together. I appeal for a pause in the protests so that we can engage in meaningful dialogue with your leaders to enhance our efforts in poverty alleviation. Once the protests conclude, we will arrange meetings with youth leaders across the state for further discussions.
