Senator Gaidam, conveying the government’s solidarity with the people of Plateau State during this challenging period, emphasized the commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice. Acting on the directives of the President, the government pledged an exhaustive investigation to apprehend both collaborators and prime suspects involved in what was termed a crime against humanity. The minister asserted that their collective determination was to ensure that those responsible faced the full weight of the law.
Expressing sympathy for the victims, Senator Gaidam also extended well wishes for the swift recovery of injured citizens and security personnel who valiantly worked to secure the affected villages. The government called for unity, cooperation with security agencies, and the provision of vital information from the public to aid in capturing the ruthless criminals who were currently at large.
