The Kaduna State Police Command has reported the successful rescue of three kidnapping victims in the Kuriga Wussa area of Zaria Local Government Area (LGA) within the state.

This development was confirmed by ASP Mansir Hassan, the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the command, through a statement issued in Kaduna.

Mansir elaborated that the Divisional Police Officer in Kidandan, in conjunction with local vigilante groups, ventured into the forest, compelling the kidnappers to abandon their victims and flee into the bush.

The kidnapping incident is suspected to have been orchestrated by loyalists of the notorious bandit, the late Isah Danwasa, who hailed from Zaria.

Mansir further disclosed that the rescued victims all originated from Kuriga Wusasa and have been reunited with their respective families.

Commissioner of Police for Kaduna State, Mr. Musa Garba, appealed to the public to remain vigilant and fulfill their duty of providing credible information to the police, emphasizing that security is a collective responsibility.

He assured the public that the police command is proactive and committed to safeguarding the lives and property of Kaduna State residents.
