1. The campaign is run by a group operating under the handle Lagospedia on X, formerly known as Twitter.
2. The group asserts it is promoting the values of Lagos.
3. It has amassed around 41,700 followers.
4. The account has consistently posted inflammatory content targeting the Igbo community.
5. On July 27, the page shared an image claiming to show bodies of Igbo individuals.
6. The same day, the group called on the Yoruba to prepare for a protest under the #IgboMustGo banner, scheduled from August 20 to August 30.
7. On July 29, it issued a warning for all Igbo residents in Lagos to leave the city.
8. The handle alleges that the Igbo were behind the violent escalation of the #EndSARS protests.
9. It also accuses the Igbo of leading the #EndBadGovernance protests.
10. Prior to the #EndBadGovernance protests, the group announced that traditional Oro rites would be observed in Lagos from August 1 to August 15, leading critics to label the event as ‘Political Oro’
