Akinremi remarked, “Those of us who closely collaborated with the former Speaker of the House of Representatives during his tenure at the National Assembly recognize his unwavering commitment to upholding his integrity without compromise.”

He expressed his dismay at the propaganda and rumors circulating, stating, “It’s disheartening for those of us who can vouch for his unblemished record over the past two decades in the House of Representatives.”

Akinremi suggested that these rumors are likely instigated by individuals or groups with interests contrary to certain decisions made by the President, aiming to discredit the Chief of Staff.

However, he emphasized that the President, Bola Tinubu, is a wise leader who will not compromise the nation’s well-being, regardless of his closeness to any individual.

Furthermore, Akinremi urged any parties planning protests to redirect their efforts toward more meaningful endeavors, contending that the ill-intentioned schemes of the government’s adversaries have been exposed and are unlikely to resurface.
