Political Showdown Looms As PDP Fixes Date For Crucial Zonal Congresses!

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rescheduled the previously postponed South-South Zonal Congress to Saturday, April 12, 2025.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

This announcement was made on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.

Similarly, the NWC has also moved the South-West and North-Central Zonal Congresses from the initial date of Saturday, March 22, 2025, to the new date of Saturday, April 12, 2025.

These Zonal Congresses will be conducted simultaneously in Port Harcourt, Rivers State (South-South Zone); Ibadan, Oyo State (South-West Zone); and Jos, Plateau State (North-Central Zone). The purpose is to elect Executive Officers and National Ex-Officio Members for the respective Zonal Chapters, in line with the Party’s Constitution and Guidelines.

The NWC urges all aspirants, party leaders, key stakeholders, members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the media to take note of the new date, Saturday, April 12, 2025, and act accordingly.
