President Tinubu, serving as the newly appointed Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), joined fellow African Union leaders and heads of the Regional Economic Community to discuss important matters of regional integration.

During the meeting, President Tinubu is anticipated to present a comprehensive report on the current state of regional integration within ECOWAS. The report will highlight the progress achieved by ECOWAS institutions, member states, the private sector, and other stakeholders in fostering integration through various means such as trade facilitation, the promotion of free movement, investment initiatives, infrastructure development, as well as efforts towards peace, security, and stability.
