Sources familiar with the matter have suggested that Tinubu is contemplating an appointment for Ambode in his government, with the recent meeting serving as an opportunity to finalize discussions on this matter.

However, fresh reports indicate that Ambode might be considered for a senatorial seat instead.

According to the source, Edun was originally Tinubu’s preferred candidate for a ministerial position in the Buhari administration but was ultimately denied the opportunity.
