President Tinubu Set To Present 2025 Budget Proposal To National Assembly On TuesdayPresident Bola Tinubu is set to present the proposed 2025 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
The announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a plenary session, where he confirmed that the President had formally communicated his intention to present the budget on the specified date.
“The President has informed the National Assembly of his plan to present the 2025 budget to a joint session on December 17, 2024,” Akpabio stated.
The proposed budget, which is valued at N47.9 trillion, was previously disclosed by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
