According to a statement from Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, these dismissals are part of a broader initiative to restructure and reposition crucial Federal Government agencies. The aim is to safeguard the rights of Nigerian consumers and strengthen the foundation for increased contributions to the nation’s economy by pivotal growth-oriented institutions.

Earlier on Monday, President Tinubu suspended Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, in connection with an alleged N585 million disbursement scandal within the ministry.
