Adamu’s demise occurred at the age of 60. He hailed from the Dambam Local Government Area in Bauchi State.
It has come to light that the late Adamu was primarily based in Gombe State, where he functioned as a media consultant. After his tenure with the BBC, he transitioned into freelancing for various international media outlets, including Reuters.
Adamu’s contributions extended beyond broadcasting; he also held the role of State Director at the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Gombe State. ]
Additionally, he served as the Chief Media Consultant to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya during the governor’s initial term.
The funeral prayer for the departed journalist is scheduled for 11 am on Saturday at the Specialists Hospital in Gombe.
He leaves behind a surviving spouse and children.
