Senator Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South senatorial district, expressed his shock and sorrow over Adedibu’s demise in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas.

Alli described the late Adedibu as a dedicated and committed member of the party who tirelessly worked for the growth of the APC in the state.

This loss serves as a poignant reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of cherishing every moment, according to Senator Alli. He extended heartfelt condolences to Adedibu’s family, friends, political associates, and the entire APC family on this tragic loss.

In the midst of these developments, the Oyo State chapter of the APC has denied claims that Governor Seyi Makinde, a notable member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), worked for the APC during the 2023 presidential election.

Speculations had arisen suggesting that Makinde supported APC presidential candidate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the election.

However, APC Chairman in Oyo State, Issac Omodewu, firmly stated that the state belonged to the APC and refuted any claims of Makinde’s support for the party.
