During the APC South East Stakeholder’s Meeting at the Christian Ecumenical Centre in Abakaliki on Sunday, Ganduje stated that the party aims to end the marginalization of these states and others in the southeast.

He emphasized that aligning these states with the ruling party would allow the region to fully benefit from mainstream politics.

Ganduje called on all party supporters in the region to work together to achieve this goal. He highlighted the importance of unity, internal democracy, and understanding the party’s constitution. He also mentioned the upcoming electronic registration to evaluate the APC’s presence in each polling unit.

“We urge you (Ebonyi) to continue with this vigor until the South East is brought into the political limelight,” he said.

The Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the South-East Governor’s Forum, Hope Uzodinma, supported Ganduje’s sentiments, stressing the need to end the region’s marginalization.

Uzodinma also urged Nigerians to be patient during the country’s difficult times, expressing confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration and its economic policies.

“I want to thank the National Chairman for the program to de-marginalize us. The more elections we win, the more things will get better,” he said.
