Popular Nigerian musician Timaya has admitted that Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, is one of his favorite artists.

He stated that the “Calm Down” hitmaker is at the top of the list of the up-and-coming new artists, rating him higher than his contemporaries.

In a radio interview, Timaya made this claim while pointing out that Rema’s music, style of dress, and stage presence are all signs that he is the finest among his contemporaries.

The Mavin/Jonzing Records signee is a father to several promising “young guys,” the Plantain Boy crooner added.
