While data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) indicated external reserves of $33.88 billion as of August 10, Omokri questioned the accuracy of these figures in light of the JP Morgan report.
He criticized Buhari’s administration for its alleged misinformation and suggested that the former president should clarify the situation or face potential consequences.
Omokri recalled the scrutiny that former President Goodluck Jonathan faced during Buhari’s tenure and contrasted it with the perceived corruption issues in Buhari’s own administration.
He urged Buhari to address the issue promptly or potentially face legal repercussions.
Omokri’s tweet emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability, urging Buhari to either refute the claims or address them from a legal standpoint.
