He explained that the presence of security personnel at the National Assembly is routine and intended for the safety and protection of legislators and staff, not to obstruct legislative activities.

Lado stated, “We have noted online reports suggesting that security agents are preventing senators from performing their duties in connection with an alleged impeachment of the Senate President. I want to categorically assert that these claims are baseless and should be dismissed, as there is no discord among the senators.”

He emphasized that the legislative body remains united in its commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s democracy.
