Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has paid an emotional tribute to veteran actor Olu Jacobs following his death, describing him as a legend whose presence, guidance and influence left a lasting impression on her career.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the actress reflected on her experiences with the late actor, whom she affectionately referred to as “Uncle Olu,” recalling the memorable moments they shared while working together on film sets.

Mercy Johnson described their time together as precious memories filled with laughter, happiness and several corrections from the veteran actor. She noted that those experiences have remained special to her and have become treasured memories following his passing.

The actress stated that Olu Jacobs was more than just a veteran in the Nigerian film industry, describing him as a legend whose impact became an important part of her professional journey.
