Revenge Mode Activated: Wike Pledges To Hold PDP Betrayers Accountable For 2023 Setbacks

During a press conference in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Ewor stated that members involved in anti-party activities would face suspension or expulsion.

He announced plans to establish a disciplinary committee to address such activities, emphasizing that those found guilty would face appropriate disciplinary measures, including suspension, dismissal, and sanctions as outlined in the party’s constitution.

The newly-appointed chairman affirmed that no individual is above the party and vowed to work closely with the national PDP leadership.

“We will set up a disciplinary committee in the coming days to handle issues of anti-party activities, particularly during the 2023 general elections and beyond,” he said. “Those found guilty will be disciplined accordingly, including suspension, sacking, and other sanctions as provided by the party’s Constitution.”

Ewor’s appointment followed the nullification of Aaron Chukwuemeka’s tenure and his executive committee by a Rivers State High Court.

No Parallel PDP

However, the former state chairman of the PDP in Rivers State, Aaron Chukwuemeka, has dismissed claims of a faction within the party or the emergence of a new chairman.

Speaking at a separate press conference, Chukwuemeka insisted that he remains the legitimate leader of the party in Rivers State.

“This morning, I felt it necessary to address the press so they are aware of what we are doing in the PDP Rivers State,” Chukwuemeka stated.
