Speaking to journalists at the headquarters of Operation SAFE HAVEN in Jos, the Plateau State capital, Ribadu declared that it was time to put an end to the clashes and killings, stating that “enough is enough.” He emphasized the urgent need for decisive action to restore peace and stability in the affected communities.

Expressing concern over the loss of lives and the displacement of women and children caused by the renewed attacks, Ribadu stressed the importance of preventing small provocations from escalating into full-scale crises.

“We must not allow minor issues to trigger events that spiral out of control,” he remarked.

Ribadu also expressed sorrow over the resurgence of village attacks and assured the public of the federal government’s support in addressing the ongoing violence.

The NSA highlighted that significant progress has been made in the fight against terrorists and criminals, with incidents of violence and fatalities reduced by over 90% nationwide. He also revealed that nearly 2,000 terrorists have been prosecuted in the past year.
