Ritual Killings Exposed: Ibadan Man Admits To The Murders Of 76 Women, Details Retrieved From Bank Records A man claiming to be a former ritualist turned follower of Christ has confessed to killing over seventy women for ritualistic purposes. Known locally as ‘Mistina Orobo’ and hailing from the Foko area of Ibadan, he asserts that he has since transformed into a pastor. He clarified that the figure he mentioned does not account for those he was contracted to kill or those he has consumed throughout his life.

Mistina Orobo made this startling revelation during an interview on Saturday on the popular radio program “Opeyemi,” hosted by Yinka Ayefele on Fresh FM in Ibadan. He explained that the blood of these women was crucial for renewing his mystical powers, and he consumed their bodies after extracting their blood.

He stated, “My idol takes about 73 to 76 women over seven years. I primarily obtained these women from clubs and other popular venues. Consuming human flesh was necessary to renew the voodoo in my body. I’ve experienced situations where bullets would not penetrate me, and machetes would break upon striking me. The tastiest parts of a human are the tongue, palm, and foot.”

Mistina Orobo also claimed to have worked for bank managers, politicians, and wealthy individuals, highlighting his notoriety among them. He recounted an instance where he was involved in the death of a bank manager, noting that the information was provided through the bank.

“I charge between N50 to N80 million to arrange killings, and I work as part of a team. I’ve trained some individuals to become highway robbers, and I always take my share of the proceeds,” he added.

He shared details about his involvement in election-related activities in Oyo State, insisting that his identity remain concealed until he decides to reveal it publicly. Reflecting on his upbringing, Mistina Orobo admitted to participating in sacrificial rituals since the age of nine, being the son of an herbalist. This background, he explained, eventually led him to become a feared assassin and sometimes a highway robber.

Describing his transformation, he recounted a significant moment where he encountered Jesus in a dream after plotting revenge against those who had harmed him. He stated, “I had been killed before, but I revived because of the idol I had at home. When I attempted to retaliate against those who attacked me, I changed my mind. When we reached the house of one adversary who was intoxicated, I pleaded for his life, and since then, I have embraced compassion and left my violent past behind. God has taken over my life.”

Currently studying at a seminary, he has spent four years training to become a prophet but has no intention of establishing his own church. Instead, he aims to share his harrowing story. He has sold the three houses and cars he acquired through his previous criminal activities.

In his reflections, he mentioned the late Temitope Olatoye, known as Sugar, a former member of the House of Representatives, who died while he was in Ghana. He believes that had he been present, the tragedy might have been averted, as he had consistently warned Sugar about the dangers he faced.

Sugar succumbed to gunshot wounds to the head on March 9, 2019, in the Intensive Care Unit of the University College Hospital, following an attack by suspected political assailants in the Lalupon area of Ibadan. Rumors of his death circulated quickly, with many believing he had died instantly from the assault.
