the group commended Wike for the remarkable development initiatives he implemented in Rivers during his tenure as the state’s governor.

Furthermore, they advised the former governor to be cautious in his new role as the FCT Minister, as it may lead to him facing more critics than supporters.

The group disclosed that they have been informed by certain messengers that some individuals with malicious intent are fabricating stories to create a rift between Wike and Fubara.

They urged him not to allow others to manipulate him into tarnishing the grace he has received from God.

The group of Rivers indigenes recommended that the Minister engage in open discussions and seek counsel from respected elders, such as Sir Peter Odili, in case any conflicts arise.

Part of their statement read, “We, as Concerned Indigenes of Rivers State in the Diaspora, approach you today with deep respect and a strong sense of responsibility because the issue we wish to address concerns all Rivers State natives worldwide.

“Your tenure as governor brought unprecedented development to our beloved state, and for this, we express our gratitude and admiration.

Your ambitions, including your presidential bid within the PDP, garnered significant support from the Rivers State diaspora, as we believed in your leadership.

“While the presidency may not have materialized at the time, we continue to have faith in your promising political future.

Given this, we wish to provide some advice and caution regarding your current role as the FCT Minister.

Your intentions are noble, but the intricacies of this position demand careful deliberation and the right approach.”
