Rivers Emergency Rule: Fasua Cautions Fubara Against Legal Action

In a separate development, Oye Fasua, a former governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ondo State, has advised suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State against taking legal action against President Bola Tinubu.

Fasua described the potential legal challenge to the six-month emergency rule as “counterproductive,” warning that it could further complicate Fubara’s political situation instead of offering justice or resolution.

In a statement issued in Lagos, Fasua criticized those urging Fubara to contest the emergency rule in court, stating that such advice could do more harm than good.
